I removed all the bolts from the variator/clutch/belt cover and I can't get it to budge. I tried prying, hammering and an incantation but I'm afraid of breaking the potmetal cover.

What am I doing wrong? I'm almost ready to listen to the little voices which are saying send back the sliders and faggedaboudit.

I know they suggest using a rubber hammer.
