Should the A/F screw be adjusted at all for winter driving. Right now mine is set a 2 1/2 turns out. This morning being it was cold it was hard to start. I was wondering if I should set the carb on the rich side or lean side for the winter.
Thanks

the best thing is to do a plug check. it will usualy will get lean when the air is cool. but it like's cool air. maybe up jet. here in pa i leave it at 115 main ....but look at the plug first......buford

The Norm is Little Richer in the winter and Leaner in the summer. But usualy if you were running pretty good in the summer with the carb setting no need to do anything. IF it Makes a Brupping Sound on you or hesitates a little at WOT Just turn the Fuel Ratio Screw 1/4-1/2 turn Richer otherwise just leave it alone. Alleyoop
