Now when you back off the throttle do you just back off a little like a 1/4 inch or so. If you do Does it then Speed up a little on you? If it does speed up on you a little IT IS RUNNING LEAN. If it hesistates, sputters or bogs then SETTLES down IT IS RUNNING RICH.
Does it make any kind of SOUND, A POPPING SOUND or BRUPPING SOUND.
POPPING SOUND it is running RICH, BRUPPING SOUND it is RUNNING LEAN. Alleyoop

Sounds like it is running really LEAN to stall out even after backing off a little on the throttle. You must really have to back off the throttle to keep it from stalling. Have you tried Richen up the Fuel Ratio Screw, it should be out around 2 1/2 turns . Turn the Fuel Ratio Screw CLOCKWISE until it stops and count the number of turns it took until it stopped. If less than 2 1/2 turns THEN turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE 2 1/2 turns and give that a shot.
It could also be your Fuel Pump and or PETCOCK not feeding enough fuel fast enough. Or how about your FUEL FILTER is it the right size and NOT TO BIG. Alleyoop

alleyoop, It doesn't stall all the time, but I know when its coming because it will start jerking, once in a while if I back off it seems to recover, not all the time. I put new gas lines on it and fuel filter, I did have a bigger fuel filter on it but it didn't seem to work that good, so I switched it back to the littler size.
