Has anyone taken the wires out of the connector for the CDI?
I've been trying to pop the coil wire out with a small screwdriver with no luck.

i used a knife just look where they plug into the cdi theres a little piece of plastic that holds them in slide knife in there it will open up pull on the wire and it will come out i squeezed all my canecters to fit better and worked great

Yes, look at the end of the plug and you'll see a little slot on each pin and just take a tiny screwdriver and slide it in until it presses the one way locking tab in and then the wire will pull right out from the back.

Look the connector over, I even put a little soldier on mine for good contact, crimp it nice and tight, bend the locking tab back out and re-insert it back to the plug, good as new!
