Where were you on that tragic day? i don't remember why I was home that day and the funny thing about it is I rarely watch TV especially in the daytime but on that day I sit and watched the horror. Here are some aerial photos just recently released it was a sad day indeed.

I too was at home. I heard radio reports on my way home from work, I watched the tragedy play out on TV that day. The whole time I was trying to contact a friend that used to live in the city at the time. My friends were OK BTW but there friends were not so lucky. Great pics. They show the devastation from another view other than ground level. Thanks for that!!!!

I saw the screening of the documentary "I survived 9/11" this weekend. Some parts were enough to make one cry. Awful - made me value life and caused me to buy flowers for the office on the way home - to enjoy the good things of life, just like our wonderful sunshine day today. Had another 4.5 earthquake yesterday, but no reported damage - so that's good too.

Myself I'm not a TV watcher any more, don't like the stuff on but on that day I steped into a office that had a TV going and saw the second plane hit the tower.
I just can't understand how any human being could do this to another innocent person and think they were in any way justified for this cowardly action.

On this day of remembering I only wish the families could forget. I again point to the pics from JR. I think the most graphic is the lone human free falling. Millions watched as a few thousand were alone with there thoughts and prayers. Then, In an instant many were lost but many more suffered for at least 110 minutes. Many more still live with hurt daily. Time does not heal all. It just gets easier to go on day to day. I have no pics or sad story to share, just my opinion. 10 years later we are still at war even after finding the mastermind. People still suffer for their loss and nothing has really improved. Just more lost lives for no reason IMO.

I never watch TV either. I only watch desperate housewives and I occasionally watch the news channel. I have never watched daytime soap operas or talk shows. But just like the rest of you, I also had the TV on that day. Strange how we all did. Any way, I just couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. To this day, when I look at pictures, I want to bomb every alcida member in the world (which would be impossible to do without killing a lot of innocent people). For those who were in the buildings and around the buildings, but lived through the horror, I feel especially sorry. How awful their memories must be. We will never forget.

JR, I didn't reply to this because I had no words to express what those images brought home to this New Yorker. I would now like to say THANK YOU.
Let us never forget!

That day i was working here in miami and it was in the morning. A co-worker came up to me and told me, i thought she was joking, there was no way for me to check cause there are no tv's at my job, at that time. i immediately called my dad to see if he was ok When i got home i saw it on tv. I was in shock, it effected me very much cause i was born & raised in nyc but now live in miami...RIP to all the people we lost
