OK guys.........the backrest/hump on my seat just fell off! Has anyone had a problem like this before? If so is there a fix? If not is there a more comfortable seat out there that will work in place of the stock seat? I can buy a new stock seat on eBay for $98......let me know your thoughts on this. Scooter is running like a bat outa hell and have been having no problems until now. Thanks, Dave

Can't help, but the year might help for those who maybe can.

It depends on the size of your wallet,,,if it were me I'd take the seat to a good auto upholsterer and have the seat reshaped to what you want/need and have a new cover made

Depending on the state of your finances, I think cyborg is on to something. I never found the original seat on my Roketa all that great, and it already had one gorilla tape repair after a year on the road.

I've had a bunch of bikes and have had quite a few cut/ reshaped and recovered,,, in the long run its paid off,,, I hate to put out the dough,,, but I've never had buyers remorse,,, I am historically a cheap bastard,,, but I generally don't cheap out when it comes to my bikes,,, everything else is another story,,, after all I do have a reputation to uphold as " the cheapest bastard on the planet"

Well as a temporary fix I have used contact cement to affix the backrest/hump back on to the seat. It will work until I figure out something else.......id have to spend $100 on a new factory uncomfortable one!
