Hello Folks, recently I change the CVT transmission by spare parts Malossi ( variator, clutch), the original was doing many noises and additionally the variator broke the spring clip, by which the bike was accelerated alone. I change everything less the belt, that looks good, but when I installed the new parts I realized a problem with the belt which after assembling all over again it looks as if it was misaligned and stretched, I imagine that I need install a new one, but this belt Powerlink has only 8156km ( 5068mi ) of use. I leave you to the video of the belt and some photos of the variator Chinese and the new variator and Malossi clutch =). The old Variator with dry swamp... the new variator Malossi with some grease MHR Malossi =)The cluth and contra-SPring malossi. The Belt installed with the new spare parts. I don't have impact wrench is too expensive in my country ( 350 usd ) ok, comment about CVT are welcome

Questions? What belt do you have, the 871 or 856? Also did you put the old rollers in from the old variator? Lastly the variator for the Linhai is a dry type variator, grease over time will make the rollers stick. If you change to sliders grease is a no no too.

I am guessing the new part is smaller, causing the belt to be too large---just an opinion, not a learned one

in fact it is not smaller, unlike the variator fan it is a bigger just millimeters, for which I had to scrape and polish the transmission cover so that it will not stick..already buy a New belt powerlink 856 , and remove all grease from the rollers and variator , I placed, Rollers of 11 gr (4 ) and 14gr (4) as an experiment to see that such =)..
Thanks for your feedback JR & fflintstone
