Sounds more like a battery with a dead cell. tvnacman.blogspot.com/12.7 with the key off and with the key on 7vdc. Is the fuse jumped, if not I would try to find what is pulling the battery down. John

It was the battery, battery store was confused too because the voltage would drop on load then recover to to 12.5 or so. He opened the battery up and the cells were dry probably from over charging. That's interesting because I have had no blow light bulbs or unusual signs of this condition but with out a volt gage it's hard to monitor. Thanks for all help from you guys.
