Has anyone ever tried a LED headlamp bulb in a GY6? A low wattage like a 30w or even a 10w LED for example? I've been debating on ordering one, because my halogen is really dim. I'm concerned mainly about how hot the bulb would get in the headlamp housing/reflector. Anybody ever tried one?

Some LED's come with heatsinks, and built in fans and such......Yet, as you say, they run cooler than halogens or incandescents. I have a 30w coming from ebay, and a 10w as well in case the 30w melts the plastic plug or my headlight reflector...he he. I don't ride at night often, but with my 10" wheels, I need to see chuck holes in the road when I do.
