Finally up and running. Thanks everyone for all your help and advice. I finally had to replace the ECU which was an easy fix but cost $260.00. It is located under the seat. The good thing was BMS paid this as a warranty item. I think this was a good learning experience for me and some of the other rookies! Thanks again!!!!
I do have one tech. question: how can I tell if the 10 amp fuse between the battery terminals goes bad? This seems to be in the wrong location? Any ideas or advice?

Is the 10A fuse on a black wire? If so then it's the 12Vdc feed from the key switch to the fuse box. If this fuse blows you will lose several functions, horn, blinkers etc.

It was a 15 amp tube type but I changed it to a 10 amp blade style. On the BMS web site they only show a 10 amp blade style which is what I did, but I'm not sure putting it between the battery terminals is correct? Thanks for your input.

Thanks, but I have one question. What good does it do to have the fuse located between the battery terminals? How do I know if the fuse goes bad?
