Hi all. I recently checked my plug because I did not like how I've been running of late, and I found that my plug, an NGK DR8EA, had lost its terminal nut and was now bent. The boot I have needs the nut to grab on to - it won't grab on the terminal threads.
I could buy a new plug easy enough, but could not find an auto parts store that even knew what a terminal nut was let alone sell one. I didn't feel like waiting for one to come in the mail, so I called NGK and asked if they sold a DR8EA style that had a fixed nut. they did and I got it from a motorcycle dealer. Should this come up for anyone, you can buy an NGK DR8EB.

Yes it was actually odd to me that they make both until I realized some use a sparkplug cap like yours and some use it without the nut?
