has anyone used one of these to jump start a Buddy 170 Or anything without a kick start ? Bolt Power D28 400 Amp Peak With 13600mAh Portable Car Battery Jump Starter. Saw this on amazon.  |

Haven't used that brand but did use one to jump start a Roketa 250 a number of times---also jumped my riding mower--we consider a battery jump start safe to use --using your car to jump start is ok if you shut off the engine first--you don't want the full power of the alternator running into your delicate system--good luck--other opinions may differ--good luck--fflintstone---PS--it is recommended to not grind on that starter more than 5 to 10 seconds at a time ,let it cool then try again
