I have a Daelim S125. Lately when starting it, it seems be be flooding out. Some days it runs fine. Driving me crazy. I was curious if anyone knows how the fuel enrichener works. I have changed the carb and it does the same thing. Where does the enrichener get it's signal from. I am thinking it is telling the carb to keep it open.
Any thoughts.
Thanks Rick

The auto choke generally gets it's voltage from one of the legs of the R/R but can run off of plain 12Vdc voltage as well. It doesn't stay open as you said except when the scooter is cold. After starting the auto choke heats up and closes thus shutting off the extra cold starting gas. If it's not getting voltage or if it's bad it will not close. Here is a video explain how it works, I might add also one of the ways to see if it's working at all is to start the scooter and after a bit put your hand on it to see if it's warm. If not then it's bad or not getting voltage.
