Price of gas is now $1.89 here in NW Tennessee and looks to go even lower before bumping bottom--so I guess I can trade my 2 wheeler in for a gas guzzling Humvee-hehe--likely not--I can't see this trend ,lower gas prices lasting much longer--anyone got the inside track on how much longer this is gonna last?--just wondering--I am old enough to remember .28 cent every day price ,with premium being .32 cents ,for rich folk with Caddys and .15 cents for diesel ,for the Mercedes and trucks--remember when diesel was cheaper than gas? well, now it is almost 1,50 a gallon higher --sigh--with every gift comes a price ,seems like--carry on ,I'm gonna dream on for awhile -lol--ffintstone--(PS--let me know if you got an idea how long this gas price drop is gonna last)

$1.84 this morning 5 miles up the road for real gas! Non-ethanol stuff! Got my two barrels in the back of the truck if it drops a nickel more I'm going to go fill both of them up. I even made me a sling to put on a chain hoist to be able to unload them out of my pickup!

Ok guys, lets hear your prices across the globe--we got 1.89 here in NW Tennessee,1.84 in Arky land, about 1.79 in around St.Louis--how about East and West?--oh ,on the news today ,on the radio, some expect the prices to continue on down for awhile ,because of the market glut (and probably we stopped buying it ,for scooters)

I have been doing some research on this topic and have found out with the weather being so cold 99% of the scooter riding culture have put their scooters away waiting for warmer weather thus causing a mass reduction in gas demanded leading to the lower gas prices we are having now

Here in the BallGround/Canton GA area it is running from $1.97.9 to $1.99.9 for regular. down from a high in the mid $3..40 range 6 weeks ago. Not as good as in some other areas but GA. has a tax on every gallon sold. My guess is that when summer demand goes up so will fuel prices. Politics, supply , and demand are the determining factors.

We have a pretty high tax on gas as well--.40 plus per gallon--don't know exact but over .40--Government is not going to give that back--so we can only hope other factors will keep prices going down--One thing,we had the first economic downturn starting in 2008 when prices were near $4.00 per gal and I bought my first Roketa scooter--I jokingly told wife that I am the reason the stock market crashed ,I stopped buying gas--it was kinda odd--a lot of people stopped buying gas same way,and housing market went to hell--we must have caused the recession--scooter riders--hmmm

Now that prices are low, people will buy more gas, demand will rise, and investors will pay more and more for gas and oil futures, driving the price higher until it reaches a point where it costs so much that people cut back again. Oil looks like a very good investment right now. When people are happy about the price of gas, so are investors. I'm not in the market but infomine.com shows a rise on the 13th for crude oil. Now showing a rise of $3.50 per barrel from the 13th to the 16th.

$1.82 gas today,Jan 17--we buy groceries from Kroger weekly ,meat and produce and Kroger sells gas out front and for every 100 dollars ,you get a dime off per gallon--wife also does a little survey monthly and gets an extra 50 points so last week we got 40 cents per gallon off when gas was 1.94,so we paid 1,54 per gallon--unheard of for several years, below 2 bucks a gallon--maybe gas will be .99 cents next time we buy gas--if we save enough points--oh,if you accumulate 1000 dollars in groceries, you get a whopping $1.00 per gallon off--think of the possibilities ! Maybe they will pay me to buy gas--hehe--nah--never happen--just dreaming
