Leaves tell me mowing season is ending. Tells me cooler temps are coming. It's about time to dig the sweet taters and peanuts and say goodbye to garden for a spell even though I'm going to pick me a mess of turnip greens today! Supper tonight: Purple hull peas Turnip greens Pork chops Fried taters Corn Bread Ice Tea! Meal fit for a king! JR

Does this mean that we'll be reading through falling snow flakes all winter?...Inquiring minds want to know.

Yup--you nailed it rks--we will have snow flakes later on,and Christmas presents--ol JR is pretty creative with this stuff--keeps us aware of our seasons and when to winterize our scoots--or get an Icebear--happy trails, fflintstone

I find this time of the year to be the beginning of good times for me and my scoot. Normally, when temps are in the 90's and up, the scoot stays in the garage. Now we have been able to start riding again. Probably will ride when I desire right up to late spring when the temps start staying in the 90's and above.
Southern Arizona is not a good place to be in the summer. My opinion. But now I live here for the lower altitude for my lungs.
