Without knowing why he disappeared ,which is no doubt a means to thwart the law,just take him out in the woods and make him disappear again--or not--eh?simple solution

JR the monthly National Lampoon Magazines from the 1970's had one page devoted to bizarre News stories that were often hilarious. That mag was very non-PC and often offensive depending on one's point of view and tastes - but this was a different time and some felt anything goes for the sake of a laugh. One article I recall was a man in a small grocery who put a stack of cat food cans on the register counter and then exposed and placed his 'member' on the counter. The clerk remained calm and swiftly smashed the stack of cat food cans down so swiftly on the customers pride and joy that the fellow passed out and the clerk phoned the police.
