Plenty of spark.
New Keihin carb. New petcock.
Will start (and idle real fast) with starting fluid. But then it will die and not start again (w/o fluid).
Decent compression (I think): 95psi
I'm at a total loss.
Do I need to maybe adjust the float?

you need to adjust the carb, if its a 2 stroke it has a AIR RATIO screw on the right side next to the AIR INTAKE(Filter side). It is not getting enough fuel, turn that screw clockwise 1/8 at a time and try it after each 1/8 turn. It is very sensitive so not to much at a time just small increments. Alleyoop

Also 95psi is not descent compression it is low if you did it right.
When you do a compression test, did you hold the throttle wide open? When testing compression you want it to suck in as much air as possible and to have it do that you need to hold the throttle wide open while doing the compression test. Alleyoop

I fiddled w/that carb mixture so friggin' much. But let me mess with it some more.
No, don't think I held the throttle open when doing the comp test. Plus, my compression tester wasn't a screw-in type, so probably had air escaping.
