Today i have nothing to do, so i open the motor of my Piaggio Fly to see what happen 3 weeks ago when he overheat... Here what i see!! Inside the cylinder everything look good! At the dealer, a mechanic said to me the piston was finish, before i open the motor it works well and always hit 45~50 mph!? I clean the piston and all the black is gone now! Do you think i can use again this motor, only 800km...? :-? Today i order a jet #92 for my 20mm carb.

I think you can as long as the rings are good, it got a little hot on you, so be careful and do not run it lean. Alleyoop

No no and no, your cylinders glazed to shit, scotch brite pads, marvel oil, the piston had a bit of a hang up seizure + blow by the rings. No scuffs = reuse but the piston looks like pure garbage unless you got all day to slap that hoe with some sand paper on the burnt side. I am a 2 t guy with auto excellence skills. Be better ofd ordering a new top end then to piss off the motor as the circlips still need to be replaced as well for rings. Last thing you want is to throw a rod from metal to metal hang up.
