Hell-0 -all- New Here -My first post- Scooter: MC-62-250 Xingyue 260cc motor scooter : XY260T-4 Need new Carburator: Is there a better carb out there--they say the orginal carb has problems.. Season is not geting top end rpm out of this one..top speed on bike is only 50mph And if there is can you post a link Any help -Thanks-

It may be your roller weights causing this problem, that's why your not getting top end speed.

Something is not right that scoot should easly do 70 if not more. how many miles on it and did you buy it used or new. And yes check the CVT worn belt and weights will slow it down quite a bit.

5000 miles have the valves every been adjusted since brand new, because that could be some of your problem as well. If tight the motor would loose a quite a bit of power due to loss of compression. Alleyoop

Yes, do a valve adjustment first before anything else it may surprise you on the results. And also at 5000 miles I would also check the weights they probably have flat spots on them and or binding in there. Alleyoop

You have the LINHAI motor which makes it harder to get at the Valves. But here is a VIDEO: Alleyoop

Sliding Roller Weights the size of roller weight to get higher top end speed for this bike
