How do i know what model Roketa Scooter do i have By trw1349 (Read 765 times)

I just bought a 2008 roketa scooter, how do i find the model number of it to get parts and tires, my title says MC5, heres the VIN Number LJ4TDNPA48Y040333. Plus the rear tire says it is a 160/60/13, I am sitting on the side of the road with a blown out rear tire and I could really use some help on what size rear tire this thing is suppose to have on it. I have seen 130/60/13. Can anyone help me.

My 2011 has a 130/60/13, for what that's worth. Your 160/60/13 is just going to be wider, 30mm wider to be exact, which is about an inch and a quarter. If you've been riding it without problems with the wider tire you can go with that again, I should think, but reverting to the narrower tire shouldn't be a problem either.

I think the best your going to find is 140/60-13 tire, the 160/ size are very hard to find. You may find a 150/60-13 but those are also not easy to find.

My guess is the number on your scoot,"MC 5" is missing some numbers---MC 54 is the usual number--the smallest number on a scoot is MC 09--which is a 200 cc--the MC 54 is a 250 cc---and take another look at the tires--most Roketas use a 130- 60-13 size tire---which we find is plenty good for our use--and welcome to the forum--there is plenty of info on tires in our info section--happy trails,fflintstone

Pictures tell it all, show me the scooter with the CVT cover and/or muffler and I can tell you exactly what you have.
