Can anyone tell me how much fuel is supposed to be in the fuel filter because mine has very little going thru it. And when it's cold it runs and excelerates great till its warmed up then it idles good but won't excelerate good anymore kind of like it's starving for fuel.

SOunds like you need to adjust the Fuel Mixture to me, turn the Fuel ratio mixture screw COUNTER CLOCKWISE 1/4 at a time and try it.

Does it make a BOG sound when you twist the throttle, A Video on how it is running would help and you twisting the throttle need to hear the motor how it is acting.

Let me ask is your tank In the back higher than the carb or in front lower than the carb? You can also try Opening the gas cap and see if it fills the filter. Alleyoop

Ok, so you have a FUEL PUMP, did you put in a new FUEL FILTER by chance or change hoses or anything? Alleyoop

I just checked mine and though its hard to see well it looks pretty full if not totally full. Have you replaced the crappy chinese filter? If I remember correctly we can use a Purolator #F21124.
UPDATE - I found the old scootdawg thread. here is what you can get that will work much better and won't fail in 5,000 miles:
WIX #33011; NAPA #3011; CarQuest #86011; EFI #GF95; Purolator #F21124; FRAM #G4164; AC Delco #GF461; BOSCH #71936; Luber Finer FF2314/G6529

I am thinking he has either a Gas tank vent problem or if he changed the fuel filter he put it in backwards or to big of a fuel filter. Alleyoop

New filter fuel lines and vacuum lines and filter is one the right way. It has always had this problem.

To much restriction take the one Between the Tank and PUMP off , you want to protect anything getting to the carb. Also NO UPS AND DOWN from the Tank to the pump on the hose. Set it up so fuel flows straight to the pump so it always has fuel to pump. Alleyoop

FWIW, I kept the filter between the tank and the pump and ditched the one by the carb. Also, these scoots have vented gas caps.
