My 125CC Daelim is giving me fits!
The high beam headlamp works, the brake light works, the blinkers work and the dash light work but my low beam headlamp, license plate lamp and tail light won't light up and they are supposed to illuminate when the key is put in the "ON" position but they don't. We have basically taken off all the access panels to get to the frame so the bike is wide open. We are not getting any juice to the low beam headlamp which looks to be spliced or at least comes out of the same harness the high beam does.
There only appears to be 1 fuse on this bike that is nest to the battery box there is a relay that clicks on when you turn the key on that is behind the battery box. there is a round part next to the relay but the wires don't match up to the colors for the lighting.
Please help me resolve this issue, thanks, FlaDom

This is a nice scooter and we have a service manual to it with a great wiring diagram:
.thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/thread/457/daelim-manuals" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/thread/457/daelim-manuals
It is the S2 125 Service manual
On page 182 is the wiring diagram. Now this is a odd cookie and it has a relay switch that is activated when the key is on that sends DC to the lo beam side of the headlights along with the tail light and license plate light a very odd system. The hi beam is not fed through this relay and should come on with just the key on and it in the Hi position.
Look at the diagram and find the light relay, betting it is out. Hope no one has messed with the wiring when you mentioned spliced?
According to the diagram this relay should have the following wire colors:
Black Brown/white Red Pink
Now if this is correct and no one has compromised this scooters wiring you should be able to jump Red to Brown/white and put the dimmer switch in the lo position and the lights should burn as a test to see if the relay is bad.

It is one of the wires in the CDI. On the 4 pin connector. I just had the same problem a few weeks ago. The pin pulled out a bit. Just stumbled across it by accident.
