rode ole silver bout 75 miles today (one way) to my friends house. bought ole silver from him. i am averaging about 78 mpg. last time i checked it was 82.5 mpg. this time, it was 77. really enjoying this. and the next 2-3 dqys looks just as good. ride safe riders

I put about 50 miles on mine yesterday. With clear, warm weather the next few days i expect to put even more on my scoot. I don't get quite the mpg's you do but I am getting around 65. That is good enough. My scoot is a blast to ride and I enjoy every mile of it. I try to ride mine every day. Heck, I believe I'm gonna fire mine up right now and take off.

I'll chime in here to say that I bought my Roketa with considerable ambivalence. The child in me wanted to, but the logical, sensible old geezer was skeptical. I HAVE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST riding this thing around Tucson, despite one hip fracture early on, first night in the hospital since my 20's, and a recent spill that messed up my back for three weeks. I am having a LOT of fun with this thing, and would be very reluctant to give that up unless my overall health gets a lot worse than at present.
Probably this belongs in "general chitchat" rather than in the 250 classroom -- JR, are you there?

yeah, i hear ya. to me, i can be totally stressed out and i was........... but, getting on ole silver helps me to relax and i really enjoy the ''freedom'' of being on 2 wheels. i got 80mpg on my last fill up. of course, i keep my foot out of it. uhhhhh, maybe i should say, i keep my hand out of it lol....... u take care and stay safe also

well, am glad ur doing ok now. i have been sooo stressed out past couple weeks coz my health will not even let me work part time...tried it and just to much on me with my severe arthritis. so am once again, depending on ss disability only. i worked over 45 years to get what i am getting. it helps but being single is hard to live on it. but, ole silver helps me so much, relaxing me and giving me the freedom to enjoy even if my back is really hurting. stay safe out there
