Can anyone help me figure something out? When I first start out from idle the engine is idling smooth then when I add throttle the rpm increases and I begin to move the scooter feels rough and I can't tell if engine or what then once going smooth as silk. Any one have any words of wisdom.

If your accelerating too slow could be your roller weights, try accelerating a little faster and see if that helps. You move out fast enough for your varaitor to open up.

Not that I've ridden on my Turista overly much yet, but I've found it does seem to have a bit of belt noise when not given a good amount of throttle. It makes the scooter 'feel' like it's running rough, but I'm pretty sure it's that v belt down there vibrating a bit before settling down once you get up to speed.

With the heavier scoots if you start off slow the clutch pads get glazed up and slip and cause a slipping and sometimes they shudder until enough centrifugal force with more rpms really make the pads grab the bell. So next time your in the CVT take the bell off and look at the pads if they are glazed get some fine sandpaper and just take the Glaze off each pad. But remember it will happen over and over if you are very light on the throttle when starting off. Less frequent glazing will occur if you give it some good throttle get the weight moving THEN back off the throttle. Alleyoop

OK, tried moving out fast seems to do that nicely and no roughness but still had that feel maybe it is the vibration from the belt or maybe I'm to picky with things just thought it should move out better, thanks for your input , let you know if I find anything out going to scoot around awhile and see how things are. Thanks

The Aelous 300's have some level of vibration anyway. I think it is torque related. I am used to it now. Dont bother me in the least. I think you will find that as you ride it more and more it will become less of an issue because you will be enjoying the heck out of that scoot. It is just plain fun. I love mine. Best source of enjoyment I know. (Well 2nd best anyway) lol.
