I have a taotao 150cc scooter. I replaced the stock carburetor because it was sealed and couldn't clean it or modify it at all. So I replace it with a howhit 26mm carburetor 105 main jet. and now my top speed is around 45 mph down from 54 top speed. Gps verified. What could be wrong?

Man you guys always go for a bigger carb and not replace it with what they come with which is a 24mm carb. The bigger the carb the more air it moves through it so now you have to play with the MAIN JET. Do you know what main jet is in your 24mm carb you took off.
Bring it up to speed at WOT and back off the THROTTLE about 1/4 of an inch and hold it there AND PAY ATTENTION to what it does. Does it speed up a little or does it slow down or just runs the same. Alleyoop
