No, I unhooked it for now unto I put a goggle switch so I know there will be no drawing from battery. thanks for all your help

sounds like your charging system is weak . Is your scooter the one with the weak charging system ? what happens when the cooling fan goes on ? I know you have had this scooter a while . I don't know the details . John Nope, that's Ellpee (me). Which is not to say there may not be others out there with the same problem ....

John As do I -- since you mentioned the fan thing I thought you were referring to my particular tale of woe. I've wondered whether it's just my scooter or whether all the 250 Roketas have the problem -- haven't read all that much about others battling the volt/amp gods, figured I just wound up with one built on a Monday or something.

Found out what happened to me was my battery tender wasn't connected all the way to keep my battery maintained (still checking to make sure the mini amp is good) my Roketa works good and I don't have any volt/amp issues. The only time I had trouble is when my three way plug melted that controlled my head lights.
