if you upgrade the ground cables to the battery ,frame ,and motor it will help the factory wires are way small on these bikes I used an amp wire kit for auto stereo system to get heavier wire that is still very flexiable

mine don't seem any smaller gage. then any other motorcycle I have had ,though they said they had fixed some issues with 2013 ,an i could be wrong later,but I guess I hope not ,I guess with certain things its hit or miss,,an some guys may not have any issues ,as there are a lot of these out there the yy2550t

The stator on this scooter is 18-coil not 11.
