Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my scooter to 61mm and install racing gears. Is there another way of installing the gears without a press? I have a taotao 150cc evo scooter. I'm also install a manual petcock but there's a vacuum hose goin to the manifold and the carburetor I believe it's called the decelerator can i plug this? Thanks

No the decel needs Vacuum what that does is when you all of sudden let go of the throttle it creates a lot of suction and draws a little bit of fuel so it does not run lean and backfire on you. As far as the Gears they have to be pressed. I just had the reduction pressed onto my 18 tooth counter shaft. I have 16/37 in there and I am putting in the tallest I could find 18/36
