hi guys i took my scooter for a 5 mile ride before and it was great on the way there however on the way home the revs started going into the red when i slowed down and it was backfiring like mad, i was also loosing lots of power. i had to lock it up in some lovely ladys path and get the wife to pick me up in the car. any help would be great. thanks

Get a new CDI your cdi controls the REVS so something went south in the CDI. Do no ride it like that. Also when something like that happens HIT THE KILLSWITCH to shut off the CDI. Alleyoop

Also were would I find my kill switch on my bike, it's not on my main dash were me lights and that are, my bike is a chinese jonway adventure 125

TRY THE LEFT HANDLE BAR ,IT SHOULD ALSO TELL YOU IN THE BOOK THAT CAME WITH IT ,THOUGH ON MINE THEY MOVED IT .TRY TAIKNG OUT YOU BATTERY IF YOU CAN NOT FIND IT
