Good grief JR. It looks like it was warmer here yesterday than it was in Arkie land. My car said it was 63 degrees. Colder and rainy today though.

Was 73F Wednesday here CC before the bottom fell out. Thursday morning at 7 a.m. it was 69F and raining, was 31F by 5 p.m. the same day. I just got back from Little Rock to bring my wife home from her job at the hospital. Only reason I went was she had finished her 3 day work week and is off for the next 5 days, wasn't going to let her stay there for all those days just watching TV in a room that the hospital provides for the nurses in bad weather. Left here at 4 p.m. with 3 to 4 inches of sleet on the ground and roads. Progressively got worse with the Conway/Little Rock area getting the slick freezing rain. Put my 93 Silverado in 4 wheel drive and headed out, 49 miles one way, got there at 5:45 p.m. Waited for her shift to end and left at 6:45 p.m. dark and with it snowing on top of the already bad roads and pulled up in the garage at 8:45 p.m. on the dot. Supposed to clear tonight and a low of 17F, high tomorrow of 27F and more winter precip headed our way Sat. night. Will not get above freezing until Wednesday and then it's only at the mid 30's, going to make this crap slick as snot. Temps are predicted as low as 5F for Mon and Tues night. Radio reported over 10k people out of power and power company has over 8k in crew working, actually passed lots of construction electrical tucks on the highway coming home. Said some may not have power for up to a week. Like I stated in another thread it's headed your way, me I've got plenty of food, warm house, gas cans full and my generator on stand by. Life is good, maybe it'll freeze some of those dang fire ants! JR
