I'm trying to connect the tachometer wiring to an instrument cluster in a 150cc GY6 scooter. The original cluster did not have wiring for a tachometer. Where do I connect the wires? There is 3 wires coming from the tach.

I wrapped my "green" wire (don't really know what color it was) around the plug wire, which also seems to work okay. I didn't have the other two, as mine runs on what is alleged to be a five-year battery, after which I throw it away and buy a new one. If yours doesn't run on a battery then the other two presumably power it, as well as its internal light if it has one. On my other scoot I installed a voltage meter, and it had separate wires for the light (which I didn't bother to connect).
