Ya, I dunno whats going on. My kymco super 9 lc was victim to vicious windstorm resulting with it being knocked over a 6x6 and the bottom turned upside in the rain. Whenever I got to it, it was smoking gun, and melted many wires shorting out. So i got the repair manual, rewired it, and got it running again. It would run great for a short distance, then drop out in a stall. Such as wide open then wooomp its done. I feather the gas and it fires again, then out, then fires a few seconds, then out. I have tried adjusting carb, tried modifying the airbox w/ portholes, then sealing them off. Nothing. Then yesterday, it makes it to the job fine but after it warms up and i start to leave, it hits a point and then dies out. sitting still. It cant even rev up enough to engage the clutch. Cant seem to get it right but did replace head gasket but no help yet.
In dire need of some help, if anybody is out there that knows anything!!!!!!

This is a two stroke right? have you checked the oil line going into the carb? It may not be getting oil and it is getting hot and seizing no lubrication. Or do you mix the oil with the gas? Alleyoop

Yes it is 2stroke, but I dont think its seizing up from lack of oil. It smokes like a broke down muffler when ive got it idling. And the spark plug shows it. Its like it will start to rev, then hit right around 3500 or 4000 rpm then booooog down and die if I dont feather out the throttle and super baby it back to idle. Ill see bout shooting a video and posting it today. Thank u for Ur help. All and any is much appreciated.

Cool, take a picture or video the carb area THIS all sounds like a fuel delivery problem getting to MUCH AIR and not enough fuel. That is what the BOOGGGGGG comes in just sucking in air. Alleyoop
