Ok so first thread, first problem, when i turn the key in the ignition to on i get no power to anywhere, lights, horn, dash, nothing. Therefore my electric start wont work! However one the engine is running (via the kicker) everything works including starter motor! I just dont know what to do about this or where to start, electrics are really not my thing! any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Check the fuse on the red thin wire hooked up to the Positive Post of the battery. If its a TUBE type fuse change it they may look good but are bad on one of the ends which you cannot see. Alleyoop

BUMMER, thought it was going to be an easy fix. Well now you have to test the IGNITION and see if it is getting 12v from the battery. The ignition always has voltage from the battery and when the KEY is turned on it sends the voltage to alla the gauges and instrument lights etc.. So it could be a bad Ignition switch IF it is getting voltage from the battery. Alleyoop
