[replyingto=tvnacman]tvnacman[/replyingto]well i can't really measure the voltage from there. My multimeter reads 00.1V out of it when it's on the 200V scale.

Could it be the TCI causing weak spark?

everything is a could be , see if you can muster up another meter , the pulse signal is needed for ignition .

[replyingto=tvnacman]tvnacman[/replyingto]yes i agree with you, but since i have spark at the right time the pick up coil sends signal to the TCI.

[replyingto=tvnacman]tvnacman[/replyingto]i don't remember exactly. i need to take it to the mechanic in order to test it again. Today i checked the Orange wire going from TCI to ignition coil and the results i think are not good.
Ignition "ON": 0.00V Ignition "ON" + Cranking: 4.50V
is the 4.50V ok?

if the tci is sparking you have fuel then you have a compression problem .

You keep saying TCI?? Do you know its a TCI and not a CDI? Take some pictures of the TCI as you call it and I will tell you if its a TCI OR CDI.
A weak spark is a SPARK that is orange color a good SPARK IS BLUEISH. Alleyoop

the voltage from the cdi/tci I have tried to measure with a high end Fluke . I was not able to get a reading the pulse is too quick . Did the engine run after the pistion install ? Was it running before the pistion was changed ?

[replyingto=tvnacman]tvnacman[/replyingto]the new piston was installed a month before this problem, scooter was running fine. the voltage i measure from the cdi/tci was at 4.50V DC exactly, it was not pulsing.
