Real name is Scott and I am located in Alabama. My current scoot is an MP-250A-JCL with a VOG clone engine. Current mileage is 14,000 Miles. My prior scoot was a TANK with a 244cc CFMOTO engine. At 60,000 Km it suffered a burned ignition pickup that also took out the electronic control module. The radiator had developed tiny leaks and needed to be replaced. Along with that the headlight housing started cracking and fogging and the plastic body panels were crapping out too. It would have cost me more to fix it up than buying my new MP-250A-JCL scoot so that's what I did. Other than adjusting the valves on the VOG engine I like my new scoot much more than the old Tank.

Welcome n4zou! And my wife's scooter is the 250a also! Also the engine is the Linhai copy and they are sweet engines! 12K wow! I've got 10K on my 250B same scooter and she's running great!

Now another thing we have in common is SEC west football and the Tide and Hogs are both preseason top 10, man it's going to be tough in the SEC this year but fun to watch!

Welcome to Scooter Professor, Scott. It seems that no one is noticing the posted miles on your old Tank CfMoto 244cc. 60,000 km is equal to over 37,280 miles and apparently the engine was still going OK even though the scoot was falling apart around it. Great miles on the M-250A-JCL too. Sounds like you're a real veteran of the 250's.
