Two issues

The first issue that I have is that my kill switch no longer works and I have to used a jerry rigged switch under my seat instead. Somebody I know installed it for me, but I would like to be able to get the actual kill switch to work.
My second issue is that my headlight has suddenly stopped working. Last night my high beam indicator was partially lite even when I had it on low beam, so maybe it was shorting someplace.
I ride a TaoTao Roman 150 with only about 700 miles on the clock.
Any advice about where I should start troubleshooting my problems, and what kind of issues other than checking for loose wires. My blinkers, break lights all work properly and lights on the dash, other than my high beam light indicator all continue to function.

I had the cover off today, and somehow while I looking for faults my scooters fuse decided to blow. Grrr, I don't know what to do with this bloody thing. The scooter dealer I bought it from has been on vacation for the past 3 weeks and god only knows when he will return. The last place I brought it to, is the far side of Nashville and I can't drive it to work because I don't have any lights.

Sounds like a bad ground wire. What I would do is get a couple of fuses put a new fuse in and then grab each wire and move it and see which one that you move blows the fuse. Alleyoop

I pulled out two of the wires from the kill switch and hey presto I have light when I join them together. It looks like it was the kill switch all along. Damn I wished I would have thought to do that earlier.
