Greetings, Has anyone done an engine removal on a mc-54-250b. I have a 2007 and wondered if someone has done a removal and made a detailed instruction log with pictures. It would make the job easier if I had a guide to go by. Thanks, Ken

Well this thread is getting cold ,so I will say something here--I don't remember anyone on scoot professor actually stripping a 250 B down ,but there is another guy that did on scootdawg,when it was scootdawg,and his name is earlwb--check on it at about the year 2008,I followed it for a long time--maybe JR can help out with a link to it--good luck,fflintstone

I have never done a engine pull but I would think that all the rear covers must come off. That includes the plastic boxes under the seat Then also the running boards and the center hump section may need to be loosened or removed. This just to get to the engine and its drive components, muffler, wiring. Sounds like a busy job. Good luck with that.
