Right now you are seeing missing photos or images that are on the smilies and/or banners. I don't know if you know it but recently Photobucket along with TinyPic were purchased by FaceBook. Long story short the used to be unlimited free upload/hosting of ones photos is now limited to a small amount of only 2G. From my understanding also this limit also only allows for so much usage per month or clicks. Once that limit is reached then photos will disappear until a new month time period for so many days until it is renewed at the end of the month. I also just found out that PicturePush is doing the same thing. Now one can increase their upload size allowance easily for of course a monthly fee. I am looking into other options, one that have a larger allowance and are free, two looking into the possibility of using my godaddy server that I personally pay for to host these/photos images and three other image hosting sites. I am looking at Flickr right now as I understand they have one Terabyte free. .flickr.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.flickr.com/This will take me a little time to convert these images and such and your patience is appreciated. I use Pbase. to host all of my pics.. The price varies but has been well worth the price. I have had it for about 10 years it only cost me $23 a year for a Gig of space and with the 4000+ images at 800x600 that I have loaded up there i am only using about 500meg of space. I have Never had any issues with photos I have linked to there either.

That may explain why my personal area of photobucket is no longer how I set it up. I could not find some photo's where I thought I had put them, it says empty file. But in bouncing around they showed up somewhere else. I don't have much there and was looking for some scoot photo's I had there. When I found them I could not get them to operate the way I had hoped.
Thanks for your warning JR. I think it is time for me to start looking around some more for a secure home for the photo's I do have. .
