What do I need to know to remove the front wheel on my JCL250 without messing up the speedometer or brakes.
I have an air leak and need to remove the front wheel. Thanks Ernie

Here Ernie, You will need a 12mm and 14mm wrench, notice pic from left plastic cap axle bolt spacer, other side speedometer cable on the inside, outside nut and plastic cap. And you do don't have to take brakes off front, the rotor will slide out of your brakes. Hope that helps, glad your back at it. Attachments:

Ernie, Don't forget to use something to jack up the front when taking off wheel, I used my car jack with a board on top, it worked great. You don't need to jack it up a lot just enough to take wheel off and you don't want the front to tip over

Thanks guys! After I looked at it, it was pretty obvious. I was just worried about the speedometer cable which simply fell out.
Putting it all back on was another story. Us fat guys have problems bending over yanno.

you wont mess up anything, just slide the front wheel towards front so it can slide off of the brake clippers and the puck just comes out very easily, i took off the wheel front nut with a tire cross bar
