I have a manco hornett chinese scooter.. it ran fine when i bought it for a few days and only had 500kilometers on it.. i was riding and accidentally hit the kill switch.. from then on i cannot start.. i have done a ton of work on this thing with no luck.. put a new big bore top end on the motor, replaced cdi, coil, stator and much more small parts.. kickstart was broken so i replaced and that doesnt work either..feels "tight" i guess you'd say.. it cranks over untill it drains the battery and thats it.. fuel is running, carb is new.. and attempted loosening the valves to .o3 and .04 like youtube says.. its all back together and if i hook it to a jumper it just cranks forever... someone please help its my only transportation and i dont have funds to drop it to a mechanic... thanks a bunch

Is this a 50cc or a 150cc. And the valve gaps should be .003 inchs and .004 inchs NOT .03 and .04. So if they are set at that they are to tight.
Since you mentioned you put in a BBK, I have to ask did you time it right?? Do you know how to TIME it. LINE UP THE CAM SPROCKET as if your going to adjust the valves and TAKE A PICTURE of the CASE POINTER and FLYWHEEL to see how it is times. It could be out of time and or NO GAS is being sucked into the INTAKE MANIFOLD. Gas could be flowing to the carb but none into the motor. Alleyoop

Should be the 49cc Alley. You mentioned that you hit the kill switch and it's been dead since? Go to the CDI and pull the black/white wire and give it a try. You also said getting fuel but you didn't mention spark? JR

yes i do have spark and it is timed correctly at top dead and the big whole on the cam is out.. also .03 and. 04 is more of a gap than .003 and .004.. so they were kinda loose.. i changed them and still no result.. this issue started before the new top end... thats mostly why i changed it ... i dont think it has a traditional starter relay cause i took every panel off and dont see anything resembling what a starter relay looks like in my mind.lol it just cranks and cranks...uuggghh.h i reeaally just wish i could afford a mechanic right now.lol

Just because you have the CAM LINED UP DOES NOT MEAN you timed it correct. YOU have to look at the FLYWHEEL and where the CASE POINTER is pointing on the FLYWHEEL marks.
The cam may be be aligned but when you put the chain on that TURNS THE FLYWHEEL so you can be off. LIKE I SAID line up the cam and TAKE A PICTURE of the CASE POINTER and FLYWHEEL so we can see if it is timed correctly. Alleyoop
