I am thinking about putting a truck horn or train horn on my scooter. Pretty much cut the wires and twist them back with some electrical tape. Any tips etc? stock horn  |

It can be done but word of warning, the cheap Chinese horn switch will never carry the extra amp load. To do it you'll need to put a relay to handle the voltage and run it from the battery and let the horn button kick in the relay when pushed.

Get a Harbor Freight air horn kit. Comes with horns, compressor, and relay.
