Last night I took my scoot to the gym about a quarter mile away. Everything worked fine on the way there after the gym I went outside to warm up my scoot and when I pulled in the brake and pushed the starter button it made a weird sound then completely shut on all power to my scoot? Tail lights don't work when holding breaks. Non on my speedometer lights work. It won't even make a clicking sound when trying to start? There is no power going to the scoot at all. So after u pushed it home I put the battery on the trickle charger thinking the battery might be the problem charged it all through the night till full & when I went to see if it would start. Same problem. No lights at all. No starter clicking. What is the problem? I checked the fuses under the seat. But don't really know what else to do! Please help
Thanks, Ian

What size engine? Have you taken a voltage reading on the battery?

It's a brand new battery not even a month old. I haven't taken voltage readings. I will do that

It will not make a difference, you still need to get a voltage reading on the battery.
Follow the positive battery cable it should lead you to the starter solinoid. There should be a fuse there also.
Can you give more Indo on your scooter yy250a/b mc54?

I don't know what the problem was, but I stuck the trickle charger back on it and kept seeing that when I connected the Strickl charger the gauges would move a little I kept movin the terminals back & forth disconnecting the trickle charger and putting it back on till I saw my gauges return to normal and she started right up? What could be causing this problem

Loose or dirty battery cables.

FWIW, I recently bought a new Roketa MC-54-250B and had some self-inflicted electrical problems. One of the things I found that contributed to ultimately getting everything running again was that the little slot connectors in the fusebox under the seat were pushed down out of position, so the blades of the fuses were getting questionable contact. I pushed/pulled those slot connectors back into proper position and paid close attention when reinserting the fuses, so as not to push the connectors out of position again. Presto, everything worked like it was supposed to. No idea if that is part of YOUR problem, but based on my experiences its worth checking anyhow. Two-minute job.
