#1 the little rivets on the muffler are making a bad noise. Like a chain dragging. I was trippin and just put a pice of duct tap around them. problem solved.... til the tape melted lol. oops. #2 The tube/hose from the valve cover is leaking a lot of oil. or it seem this way. I went to change the oil today and the whole bottom off the engine is covered. and the center stand. its not drippping at all when idleing. i cleaned the engine and let it idle on carboard and nata. not a drop for five minutes. ive been riding a lot a top speed. (feeder roads and my girl is my size 180 and rides with me) i assume its just spitting up and theats what the hose is for but damn thats a lot. the oil level seems fine. better safe then sorry. #3 I recently had a post about breaking down. i replaced the air box w/ unifiter and the bike stopped on the waqy to work. j r suggested turning the a/f screw closed counting turns and return to half starting posisiton. started right up. well, i want to finetune it but turning it much at all killsthe enigne. i know that sum1 said maybe the idle isnt right. well i adjusted the idle up and down and natta. i means she starts immediatly and runs great but the reason i feel its not set rightis in the instr jr gave me it mentions the rps dropping too fast/slow. welol when going 35-40 and above when i let off the throttle the rps do drop fast way to fast. the engine immed brakes (engine braking) almost to idle rpm. which sucks cause i can't coast. any ideas??? #4while riding faster speeds 45-60 the bike will FOR NNO REASON AT ALL!!!!! die. what it does is the exact same thing it would do if you enganged the choke while riding that speed. makes that fart noise. so ill pull over and put the choke on hit the starter and give it 3/4 to full throttle for 5-10 secs then take off the choke and she starts right up. runs great for the next 50 or so miles. it happens more when my girl or brother is riding on it with me. when it died after i changed the filter as described above , it did the same thing olny it never started back up so i assume it may be related to the a/f issue. its like the choke just turns its self on. rrrgghhhhh. ive put in some pics and oh yeah i stripped the screw for the oil filter. i couldn't get it out. im sure it will be fine for the moment but i figuered id ask if it was dire to clean it each time. bike is 06 sunl adventure 150cc w/ 1300 miles gy6 thank u

ok the hose from the valve cover needs a filter put on the end hanging lose and tied up high it is the crankcase vent and at speed it will blow fine mist of oil that way you are getting oil all over with the uni filter on you need to up jet the carb one or two sizes and the rivits in the exhaust you can drill them out one at a time and replace the rivits with new ones

^^ YES. For the rivets--- Try a dab of lock-tite for a band-aid quick fix. Drilling and replacing is the best solution. You might need to replace the valve cover gasket if it's still leaking oil. As for cutting out at speed-- Seems like a soft seize IMO How does the spark plug look? That will determine if you need to up or down jet. Clean up all that oil so you can see where any possible leaks are. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Use JB WELD problem solved. #2. Put a Fuel FIlter on the end of it and Zip TIE IT UP HIGH not pointing down. #3. The RPMS dropping off when you back off the throttle to fast for you is not being caused by the carb setting. A.That is being caused by most likely the CLUTCH PADS not disengaging or binding and not retracting and they are holding onto the bell. B. Also check your brakes they may not be releasing but I would doubt that since you would notice that at slower speeds. C. Also check your wheels it could be a bearing or lack of grease and when HOT will start to bind. #4. Farting at high rpms MEANS it is LEAN need more fuel, you can put in the next bigger MAIN JET. So if the current MAIN JET is say a 105 put in a 107 etc.. Or you can try giving the Fuel Ratio Screw 1/4-1/2 turn Counter Clockwise. Farting is right on the edge so it does not need a heck of a lot more fuel. Alleyoop
