I was welcomed in another thread by JR so have decided to introduce myself here.

Just stumbled across this board yesterday morning while googling a fix for a odd scoot problem and found it here. There appears to be a great deal of friendly and helpful talent among this membership.

I have a shop in Central Florida that specializes in scooter service and performance builds. We've sold nearly every Chinese scooter brand over the years and are now an exclusive Bintelli Dealership but still service all makes.

I've learned a little along the way and will try to contribute to the forum where I can but don't have much free time at the moment.

i have a 2008 Shanghai Schenke Motorcycle Company LTD
model # SL 150 21B
i guess it was imported by Jonway
i bought her 3 yrs ago with 31 miles on her
she now has over 8200

BUT
i have had very few probs with "Chrissy"
so i dont post and ask to many questions,
i like to read posts and learn from other peoples probs.


i did have a electrical prob last feb
the guys on this board helped
tremendously.
Taught me to use a multimeter , on line
and we traced it down to a dead stator.

Without the patient help from these guys
i would have been in trouble, no scooter shops any where close.

Same here Scott and it seems that Florida is crawling alive with scooters. Last year my wife along with 2 of my grandkids went on vacation to Florida, first time ever for me as in vacation.

Went to Destin and the pretty white sand beaches. Several scooters there along with a rental and they stay busy. I review members here some and it has dawned on me how many members we have from Florida thus the statement ofcrawling alive.

Glad you sell, work on and like scooters and no matter how little time you have which is understandable we welcome your help and thoughts.

@ terrilee: There are a couple must have tools for proper Chinese scooter repair. A multimeter and 2 lb sledge hammer. Once you master those everything else is much easier

@ JR: Yep, Tons of scooters in Florida. Our business is about 80% service work because there are many scooter dealers in our area who don't offer any followup help. Most don't even bother to replace shipping oils so we stay pretty busy.

@ justbuggin2: We're in Titusville which is on US1 across the river from Kennedy Space Center/NASA. You're welcome to stop in if passing by. Bring some work clothes and your hammer
