well I got knocked off my scooter today . my knee hit the key switch , broke the switch and bent the key . After the police exchange , no key switch no start . Well it didn't need to be that way . I called professor Alleyoop he was a great help !!! I clipped one ground wire , jumped the starter relay and I was on my way .
ALLEYOOP YOUR THE BEST!!!!!!!

Main thing is you're ok and just a scratch! Sooters can be replaced and I'm just glad that you're fine and not hurt.
Yea I'm proud of Alley, looks like he may turn into a scooter electrical guru! LOL

Are you certain it was a ground wire and not the kill switch wire? It actually is a grounded wire to stop the engine... black and white one?

that be the one I clipped , jumped the relay , and on my way I went . All I had was a screwdriver pair of plyers and a meter .
I just wanted to get home so nothing but an engine running to get me home was what I needed to get home . Oh did I tell you guys my handle bars are a little twisted .
I have to get passed the sprained ankle .

Glad I was able to help, It was great, He told me he wasn't sure which wire was which on the CDI so I pulled up the picture of the CDI and told him the TOP RIGHT. He said OK I am going to cut it and then I heard about 5 second cranking and then VROOOOOOMM. That was music to my ears and Johns as well. Little later John called me, he was home and safe, a little hurting and beaten up but safe.
Hope your feeling better and your ankle is not swelling up on you. Your going to have to keep off the Dance Floor for at least a week. Alleyoop

The ankle is getting better , I spoke to the doctor he says if it not near 100% on Tuesday he wants to do an x-ray .
