OK Guys and gals I'm Christmas shopping already and looking for a good Chinese go cart/s.
See lot of them from simple 5 HP single riders to the biggest I would buy at 150cc and dual riders.
Got my two grandkids ages 8 and 10 and they are both capable of with proper training driving one. Got 5 acres and lots of country gravel roads here to ride on and I just can't make up my mind on either buying a dual seater so they both ride together or single seaters so they both have their own machine.
I would like to hold the total either way at around $1200 including shipping.
So if any of you know of some reliable sellers let me know.

Yea but I think they are a little to young for one of those atvs, LOWER to the ground would be more safe(HEHE). Alleyoop

The minis have speed limiters and have less than 25 inch seat height. I would think a 10 year old would be OK with this but maybe not the 8 year old?

Wow! Alley I would jump on that gokart you listed if it wasn't a 2 stroker. Two things I hate, mixing gas and in the summer when it's hot and these kids are reallyriding they just don't wear as long as the good old 4 strokers.
John sometimes you think so much like me it's scary! Already thought of the what if I catch them showing off thing! Haveing to look at them sitting generally cures that very quickly.
Cruiser that is one awesome looking place that sell the 4 wheelers and what I don't get is why are they so much cheaper than a go kart?
I'm going to talk that over with my wife. Reason is we've always been on the anti 4 wheeler page. Reason is Arkansas sadly is always in the top 3 states yearly for 4 wheeler related accidents and deaths. Just this past April a 12 year old and 14 year old lost their lives when one turned over on them. They lived only 2 miles away and were members of my church, very sad to bury children like this.
But in fairness to the machine these kids did not belong on it, a Yamaha 4 wheeler and I believe it was a 750cc or maybe even bigger, the thing was as big as a small car. I've seen parents allow 10 year olds on 4 wheelers that they barely could reach the handle bars! People just don't think. We've got to step up and pass laws to stop stupidity.
Like you said these are small and with proper supervision all should be OK but I don't know if my wife would even consider them. One thing about a gokart I feel a lot better about is the overhead roll bars and seat belts.
But it's still hard to believe the cost!
OK guys keep the sites coming, I'm shopping hard!

Thanks guys! Lots to choose from and several sites have the same karts. One day free shipping the next not. The $700 price range is great on some of these but the $200 plus shipping is high IMO.
Can't wait forever cause I want them here for Christmas but I keep thinking someone is going to step up with one of those can't refuse free shipping deals on a couple of one seaters so I can buy one each for both the kids.

They got some nice karts KZ but a little pricey? But I'm going to keep looking at everyone of these sites everyone has sent because they may have a Christmas special right around the corner?
Man can you imagine a 600cc go kart!

We bought single seat, 5 hp go karts for my kids 10 years ago. They had no suspension to speak of and admittedly were pretty good on mostly level grass. One still runs, the other was crashed into oblivion. We spent $1500 a piece. My kids scarcely used them. Video games were cleaner and the fridge was closer.

NAW , Naw , Naw. JR . Get them a couple of ponys and they can learn a lot . Groom, Feed and Water. That is before and after school. Keeps them out of trouble and also helps you mow the lawn. Can pick them up at the local sale barn pretty cheap.

Well guys I took the plunge and I watched all the links that everyone sent me and even called a couple for the best deal for me and I bought one today. We have a scooter/go kart dealer in Conway and he does a real good job and for me if funds hadn't been quite so tight I would have paid the extra to support him and bought one from him. He's selling the Tao tao scooters now and man he's got some pretty scooters! I couldn't stay long because I was getting tempted more by the minute! He also sells the same ATV line that was on the the site that Cruiser listed, a very good shop and store. But he also sells the full line of trailmaster go karts and by going to his shop I could look at every model, the size I wanted and the craftsmanship. These are quality built go karts have the cloned Honda engines, some even have the GY-6 engine and the karts to me were solid and best of all simple to work on just like the Chinese scooters, CDI system, all the things I"m familiar with and parts are easy to come by, a win, win IMO. Man I've shopped online until my eyes nearly bugged out and here's where I landed: .killermotorsports.com/TrailMaster_200cc_XRX_Off_Road_Go_Cart_Dune_Buggy_p/tm-mid-xrx.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.killermotorsports.com/TrailMaster_200cc_XRX_Off_Road_Go_Cart_Dune_Buggy_p/tm-mid-xrx.htmYes I know, I know my old buddies at Killermotorsports but they even beat the price listed here and threw in one extra pair of free gloves so both grandkids get a pair. I thought I had found one for $1299 and they first said free shipping but then backed out and said $239 on the shipping so I moved on, wasn't comfortable with that. Now if I can get Zachary to get it in the shop and this crippled foot will co-operate I'll PDI her and have it ready for Santa Clause time. Heck while I was searching I even stumbled upon a PDF manual for it with the wiring diagram! shetleykartsupply.com/files/xrx_xrs_owners.pdfJR
