I bought this cheap Tao tao chinese 50cc bike, just for fun, and it has 100/60-10 tires on them. I called the tao tao parts department to ask what tires fit on them, because I can only find 3.0/10 or 3.5/10 online, and the mechanic said that 3.5/10 are the ones that will fit.
Is there any difference between those tires (eg: my 100/60-10 tires are very wide, will I receive thinner tires with the 3.5/10 size)?
Also, which tire would be one size larger that could possibly fit? (I'll have to measure clearance, but wanted to know which tire is a bit larger/wider).
According to calculation, a tire with a 1in larger outside diameter could get me upto 4MPH faster, a gain I definitely would want!

So how does the calculation go for the "3.5-10" measurements?
If 4.0-10=100/100/10, and 3.5-10 = 100/90-10, then I need a 2.5-10 (100/100-10 divide by 4.0 times 2.5 = 62.5)?
