can anyone post a picture of what the inside of the common 50 cc 4 stroke carb diaphragm looks like looking down at the top of the needle i just want to know if there is any thing missing from my new one i remember my 150 had a screw holding a bracket that held the needle down in the diaphragm this one doesn't but it has 3 holes one for the needle one realy small one to one side one bigger on the otherside of the needle hole in the center

Your fine that is how they should be. Three holes one in the center for the needle and 2 other holes, one smaller than the other. Alleyoop

Well if yours does not have the Little metal hold down plate that you screw down then yours is most likely the needle is held by a PLASTIC white little TRIPOD looking thing. Alleyoop

To remove take a nut driver and push down slightly and turn and it will unlock. JR

its got a little metal plate but there is a stud where the screw hole was on my 150 but it just sits in said hole and when i turn it over it falls out the only thing i can see holding it down is the spring the stud seems to just keep it from moving around inside the tube to stop it from covering the holes

Do you have the old carb and does it have a screw with the hold down plate? If so then change plates and make a tiny hole and put the screw in. If the diaphragm is good in the old carb switch them.
