so i fixed the air leak and got my scooter a wildfire 50 to start but its still idling way to high i remembered the guy who sold me the new carb asked what size jet i wanted i said the same as on the old one he took it off and went back in the back room came out with both carbs and said wow you are running a 120 are you sure its 50 cc i said yes im sure ok here you go so i looked at my old carb today after the new carb made my scoot go crazy and the jet says 120 but i swear it looks like a new jet also so i think that is now the problem is 120 the correct size jet and if not what is good

A 120 is WAY to big Shitmy HOTROD Trike with the BBK that is 182cc I have a 122.5 Main jet and a #38 Pilot Jet.
Your flooding the poor thing, I bet it is probably a dog at highr speeds.
So let me ask is this just a 50cc NO BBK in it? Is it STOCK no UNI or Performance Exhaust?
If so you need maybe an 80 main. If you have a performance exhaust and Free Flow filter then a 85 main would be about right.
Is this a 4 stroke or 2 stroke?
If it is Idleing to high LOWER the IDLE using the IDLE SPEED SCREW?
What kind of carb is on there? Is the Throttle cable on the SIDE of the RIGHT SIDE of the Carb or does the Throttle cable go into the top of the Carb?
Once I know what kind of carb you have I can tell you which screw to turn to lower your IDLE. Or you can put up a picture of your carb. Alleyoop

cant put up a picture but its stock except the new carb is a type 2 carb for a 50cc gy6 qmb 139 throttle on the right side 4 stroke so 80 would be about right? i remember looking at the main jet on my old carb when i cleaned it and it not having numbers but when i pulled it out this morning it had 120 stamped on it and i remember the guy asking me if i knew the size then telling me it was a 120

Ok this is a carb similiar to yours except yours is smaller but the CVKs are all sameo sameo. Alleyoop So here you can see where the IDLE SPEED SCREW is it has the SPRING on it turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE to lower the IDLE. Alleyoop This is the LEFT SIDE OF THE CARB: This is the RIGHT SIDE OF THE CARB-Yours many not have the ACV DIAPHGRAM it may have a pump: YOU CAN SEE THE IDLE SPEED SCREW WITH THE SPRING ON IT.
