I just got a chance to pick up a nice 50cc frame and body but I really need to use my 150cc engine.
How difficult is it to swap mounting hardware around to make a 50cc body accept a 150cc engine?
Is it pricey?

Sorry Godfeast I'm a little slow. Can you tell me what scooter on the 50cc and got any pictures? I know once a long time back someone found a scooter that the 50cc frame was idnetical to the 150cc except for like one different mounting bracket and the 150cc engine bolted right up in place with relative ease but for the life of me I don't remember? But I can see if the old google skills can prevail. . I know people who have doen it so it's know totally greek so maybe we can put our heads together and pull it off. JR

Thanks for the reply, but having seen no response to a couple questions I tossed out in the interwebs this afternoon, I passed on the scooter.
It looked pretty nice too, but it was too much of a chance with no knowledge beforehand of how it might turn out.

Well the wiring is no issue should be apples for apples, carb throttle autochoke all the same. The key element will be what ever bracket you need to bolt the engine to the scooter frame and IMO when you pull the 50CC engine you can put the 150cc engine right by it side by side and compare and worst could happen is one would have to fabricate a new mount bracket and possibly do some altercations on the shocks?

Steve at Monster GY-6 but it kind of alters the scooter somewhat.

Yeah, I saw the alteration mount, but at 400 bucks, it kinda kills the whole deal thing.
